Arctic Species Trend Index (ASTI) : Terrestrial

The Circumpolar Biodiversity Monitoring Program (CBMP), a key initiative of the Conservation of Arctic Flora and Fauna (CAFF) under the Arctic Council, unites scientists, government agencies, Indigenous organizations, and conservation groups. Together, they aim to monitor the Arctic's living resources in a coordinated manner. CBMP experts are developing four plans covering major Arctic ecosystems (Marine, Freshwater, Coastal, Terrestrial). The program seeks to provide valuable data for effective conservation policies, contributing to the well-being of the Arctic's unique biodiversity through international collaboration.
