Palmer Archipelago (Antarctica) penguin data (Size)

Data were collected and made available by Dr. Kristen Gorman and the Palmer Station, Antarctica LTER, a member of the Long Term Ecological Research Network.

The "penguins_size.csv" dataset presents a simplified overview of key attributes from original penguin datasets, focusing on species (Chinstrap, Adélie, or Gentoo), culmen (bill) length and depth, flipper length, body mass, island location (Dream, Torgersen, or Biscoe) within the Palmer Archipelago (Antarctica), and penguin sex. These variables offer valuable insights into the physical characteristics and distribution of penguin species in the region. Researchers can utilize this dataset to study species-specific traits, morphological adaptations, and habitat preferences, contributing to a better understanding of penguin biology and aiding conservation efforts in Antarctica.
